What an amazing morning!

All week the Cheeky Elf has been up to tricks. This morning he had tickets for us to go and see Sleeping Beauty at Hull Truck.
The staff at Hull Truck were amazing not only was the performance was fantastic but our Cheeky Elf made it into the performance! You can imagine our children's reaction!
Can we also thank all the parents for 'keeping the surprise' and a massive thank you to Heron Foods on Endike Lane who donated us drinks and sweets for 50 children
The look on the children's faces was priceless.

Making a new den.....and building a campfire

Build nature a home

In assembly this week Mrs Halford talked about homes. She said some homes are the same and some are different. She set us a challenge to build a house, but this got 2 of our children thinking!
Corey and Ashdon started talking about building a house in the foundation garden for a crocodile but we decided a crocodile living in our garden might not be a great idea. So we talked what animals did live in our garden and we decided to bulid them a house.
We saw a little film on the big screen about building houses for nature.
Over the week we have built a bug area, a hedgehog hotel, a frog pool and bird feeders.

We look forward to adding to our area.

Art Week

We have been finding out about an artist called Picasso.
When he was sad he painted using darks colours like blue and black.
When he was happy he used bright colours like red, yellow and green.
Some times he did patterns and sometimes he painted people.
We made our own Picasso pictures.

Little Red Hen

We have been learning the story of the Little Red Hen.
Take a look at all our hard work.
